This man is a CROOK. He will sell a client out for a few bucks or to win another case. He thinks he's a star and wants to talk constantly about 'almost' being involved with the McVeigh Murrah case, but was nothing but a paid for patsy. He's a criminal and should be disbarred.

I had the chance to work with Box and Box and they took care of me. I was faced with a unique case (to me at least) and wasn't sure about all the details of my charges. I received a good explanation and what to expect when the trial came around. I would have been lost without them, and they got me off on a lesser charge which was awesome. I couldn't have spent my money any better.

I hired Irven Box in 1999 to represent me for a Use of a Stolen Credit Card case. He first told me the D.A. wanted to give me 20 years for it. He then said they came down to ten and that if I didn't take it, I would get a life sentence from a jury. This was supposed to be the best lawyer in Oklahoma, so it scared me and I took the ten years. The only problem was that when I got to prison, I found out at the law library that that crime only carried a MAXIMUM of ONE YEAR IN THE COUNTY JAIL! My numerous attempts to contact Mr. Box were ignored and since I could not afford another lawyer, I had no choice but to learn the law and file an appeal (post-conviction relief) myself. But it took me 4 1/2 years to learn how to do it, to gather my records, to file it in district court, then to finally get it ruled on in my favor. So, I spent 4 12 years incarcerated for what should have been a MAXIMUM of FOUR MONTHS (including good-time credits). He sells you out if your case isn't newsworthy.

I hired Irven to represent my husband in a felony case that involves crooked cops. He would not attack the credibility of these officers and seemed to value his rapport with the DA who is prosecuting him than to point out the innacuracies and the city's inability to follow protocol. After having him for a year and a half, brought us into his office and said we needed to fire him because he couldn't get anywhere in the case. He never put forth enough effort to settle anything. He also represented me in the DHS case that was brought on due to my husband and he did nothing other than show up. I have made more progress without him than I did with him. I can't in good faith recommend this attorney. He drained us dry monetarily and then just dumped us. Now we can't afford a new attorney and are stuck in the system indefinitely.

best lawyer in the state he does great wrk if you are a good person and he knows you are doing everything you can to correct the mistakes you made he will help you more then any other lawyer will

had a horrible experience with a case where DHS took my baby from me. Hired atty box and paid a ton of money for him to do nothing to help me. He just told the judge that he did not know and that he was just hired for the case. He asked to continue the case for a few months while I nearly died of a broken heart being separated from my baby. She was 2 months old when she was taken away. I had to fight to get her back and it took 1 year. ya don't hire Mr. Irvin box if you really need to be represented. my case was in the 80's but I can honestly say it haunts me every single day and more when I hear his name. I hope his son's do a better job of representing clients. Irvin box truly did nothing to help me but sucked me dry of all the money I had. I got so frustrated I ended up bursting out in the courtroom and pleading my case to the judge who listened and closed the case. I got my baby back 1 yr old but later is better than never. Some attorneys r really a joke and should be ousted!

I heard great things about Irven Box before the trial, and am now paying to have the court decision overturned because of his lack of personal ethics.....in promising a plea deal that did not exist....

Like the grand jury says, this lawyer is a joke. He takes your money, and will continue your case until you get so frustrated that you fire him and move on to another lawyer. Get smart, don't hire this loser. check his win loss record. he has more people on death row than the Queen of Death.He never wins a case. Just charges lots of money.

This is the attorney doctors and lawyers go to protect legal rights. I hate to rate Irven Box the 10 stars he deserves, because I want him free enough to take on new matters if I need him. There is no shame in a lawyer admitting that he or she does not play at the level Irven does. Few do. I would have a mild heart attack if I ever ended up the unlucky lawyer representing an opposing side such that I had to go up against him in court. He would quickly wipe the floor with me, shake my hand, and in good sport say, nice try. If you cannot get Irven, try retaining one of his attorney sons who grew up knowing more than most end of year 1L's by the time they were 10 yrs old no doubt. Attorney selection matters. My good deed for the year, rising above self-interest to share. Now if he gets too busy for new matters for me, I reserve the right to remove this insider information share. You did this recon, so use this information for you. No need to share with friends.
