I hate seeing all these negative comments, because she is amazing at what she does. But haters will hate. I love her staff and her as well! Communication is great, and I’m sure most of the comments are from other people who can handle the heat in the kitchen. Most lawyers blow some up your rear just to get your business. She will tell it like it is and that is what a REAL LAWYER is about.

We hired Melba to stop child support that we had been paying for 10 years because we raise the children full time and they are now at driving age and we just can’t afford it all. In other words we pay thier mom child support, and she rarely even sees her children. Melba took our money, and then billed us the full amount. We had to prove (which we did) that we had already paid. Then, her office ignored all calls and emails from us... for months. My husband finally went by there and they told him to “wait and let us do our jobs” we were sent a 600 dollar bill for him stopping by without an appointment. Not to mention, any interactions we have had with Melba and her staff are ridiculous; we have had to start at the beginning and tell our story to her all over again because she has no clue what is going on! It has been 6 months and we are still waiting on her office to get back to us.... guess we will go hire another lawyer to finish what she started and won’t finish.

Resorts to deception to conduct her practice. Disciplinary proceedings are available to protect the public by imposing discipline on a lawyer who has behaved in an unethical manner in handling a clients case. Example: Client under oath commits perjury and this attorney knowingly allows it, putting her client at risk of Class A Misdemeanor or a Third Degree Felony charge. WATCH OUT!
