Bonjour cannot be trusted to defend in good faith a client who has in fact committed any of the crimes he's being charged with. If you have a slew of charges and are actually guilty of any one of them, do not expect him to fight to have the other charges dropped or reduced. He systematically manipulates his client, is rude, interrupts, and in general creates an intimidating environment in which one cannot speak up to explain things that happened in an accurate way. He tries to squeeze as much money as possible out of his client and his client's family. He tried to raise my fee, saying he needed the extra money because of how long things were taking, but in fact the lengthy process was caused by him needlessly asking for continuances. I fired him after 11 months, and then my new lawyer got me a fair deal within a month or so. I am confident I would have gotten a life sentence had I stuck with him. I intend to complain to the bar. Do not hire him. He will throw you to the dogs.
