Jay did not follow through on his commitment to his clients. He advised us against signing the contract, based on sound legal advice. But, he provided little to no follow up. The communication was poor at best, and when the company approached him regarding our final decision, he simply told them we refused to sign. Jay did not communicate the legal rationale as to why we would not sign the current contract, nor did he negotiate or present alternatives in the verbiage or conditions. When we pressed Jay as to why he would not provide the company with our legal findings and reasoning, he indicated he no longer wanted to do business with us because we questioned his tactics. What kind of lawyer fires you when he failed to represent you? Jay said the reasons we were hesitant to sign had no bearing, yet they were the purpose for his hire. Now, the company is hounding us personally to sign the contract as is....Avoid using Jay if you can...no follow through......
