I highly recommend Robert Stites when searching for an attorney who practices with integrity, professionalism and honesty. He kept me focused and always communicated with me regarding the progress of my child custody case. Mr. Stites and his office always treated me with respect, letting me know that my family is important. He is very respected by his colleagues and the court. Robert Stites represented me last year in a difficult divorce case which was finalized in Jan., 2015. During the divorce Mr. Stites kept me in my home and in control of the money. At the completion of the divorce, I own my home and contents, have a QDRO for my husbands pension, and a fair settlement of monetary assets. For me the divorce was emotional but Robert kept me focused on business. If you compare divorce to a chess game, Robert knows the game and he knows the players. I am glad I chose Robert Stites as my attorney.

Robert Stites is an excellent attorney. He represented me in a messy divorce from my ex-husband that involved custody of my young child, and I’m very happy with how things turned out. Mr. Stites is an expert at what he does, acts with integrity, and is driven to get the results you want. I highly recommend him. He’s tough, smart, clever, and the lawyer you want on your side. Another attorney actually told me that Mr. Stites “is a legend around here.” I can see why.

would recommend him in a heartbeat! Used Mr. Stites when I separated in 88, then 95 for a final divorce. No regrets. Have referred others who were also very satisfied, both men ad women. He still gives me the best advice

A few of these reviews made me smile. I'm a corporate lawyer. I know what I want out of an attorney, but I don't know a damn thing about family law. I want someone who's tough and doesn't con or baby their clients. Stites doesn't blow smoke, he tells you where you're going and what you need to do, and he makes things happen. My divorce was a messy one but it went as well as it could have possible gone considering the circumstances and Stites gets a lot of the credit. Afterwards, he even invited me to a baseball game. I thought it was kind of strange at first, but I went and we had a hell of a time. I realized that he's actually a great guy, he just acts like a hard-ass when he's working because it's what he needs to do to get results. I highly recommend him, he's a true professional and will get the job done for you.

Robert Stites charges exorbitant fees for clerical work. Always going to the judge over things that should be settled over e-mail or phone there by increasing his fees. Asks for $50,000 retainer on everyone that I know who has used him. If you want to use someone who generates fees this is your man.

This guy is crazy. I hired him a few years ago in a family law case. All he did was take my money! Things that should have been resolved led to expensive court hearings. The problem is there were never any results. He made me fight over dumb things. After my divorce was over I talked to my ex about it. Turns out that she had told her attorney she wanted to settle early on and that her attorney told Stites but he never told me! So I ended up paying him thousands of $$ for nothing. Stay away from this guy.
