Hired Steven to finish up a simple probate. The notices were already sent out, creditors already done. Steve looked at the house sale document and stated that the realtor was charging too much. He talked to my accountant about tax matters then stated that he was not a tax lawyer so he could not recommend anything. He then sent me a $10,300.00 bill. I fired him and got someone else who is charging me $2,500.00 to finish up the probate. Steve then sent a bill for $13,000 then changed it back to $10,300. Steve did not move the case forward and wanted at least 4 times what a good attorney would charge for the whole case.
