Associate A. LeVasseur had only one year of experience with family law; claimed to have three; did not reveal the fact that she had NEVER done a divorce trial until the date of the divorce. The opposing attorney had over 20 years experience in family law. A.LeVasseur seemed insecure and was definitely not communicative with the client. Additionally, she failed to pursue areas in which the client wished to pursue, failed to recognize a subpoena; ensuring the client that court attendance was not necessary, when in fact it was mandatory. She lacks the skills necessary for proper client representation, requested information already in her possession, charged for duplicate information and even charged for copies when copies were provided by the client in duplicate (one for her; one for opposing counsel) I advise that you know who the atty. is and do not allow less than you expect-- A.LeVasseur is not experienced to represent anyone in a divorce situation that is anything other than simple!
