I do not like to disparage another, but I must speak. Simple things like failing to bring proof of my income to a temporary orders hearing—the most essential document—requesting multiple times the same document that I had previously sent and blaming me when the other party expressed frustration when she was the one mishandling papers. She didn’t respond to emails. She scapegoated me to the other party as I saw in conversation threads and only skimmed my messages regularly as I could see by her response. I have a file of multiple examples. A few weeks to the trial, I confronted her on various concerns which I had previous brought up and that second opinions from other lawyers separately identified where she was failing. She withdrew that day as counsel rather than demonstrating accountability and maturely responding to my concerns and I was left to myself at the trial. The outcome was dismal because of her unethical behavior and my family with many children is permanently harmed.

Trisha Duff is a fantastic attorney. I came to this site looking for her phone number to recommend her to someone in need of help as i have many times over the years. I am a male and have enjoyed having full custody of my son Daniel for years who Trisha Duff helped me rescue from a bad situation . She is 5 star by far.

I would not recommend this Attorney. I could not get phone calls returned and paid a down payment for service that was never started. I cancelled before anything was started yet I could not get my deposit back.I was very unhappy with this recommended Attorney.

DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER!! She never returns phone calls, refuses to meet with the client and then sends a ASTRONOMICAL invoices. We never set foot in a court room and received a bill for over $2k!

Trisha Duff is an outstanding litigator. She is well connected in her field and was able to I streamline my case and save me money. She seems distracted at times when talking to her but she certainly knows her business. I would recommend her a thousand times. She is no nonsense and gets right to the point.

She handled my dissolution and was fabulous. She charged one flat fee, was efficient, timely, and knowledgeable. There were no surprises !! I would absolutely use her again if ever needed.

Trish handled my divorce. She was able to by-pass many of the obstacles I had encountered in Domestic Relations Court due to my being a male. She is well known and was a magistrate in Montgomery County D.R. court for some time. She understands the system and works well within it. I will continue to use her as my attorney as needed.

Choosing this lawyer was the worst mistake ever! Here are the some things I experienced with her: She did not EVER return my calls in a timely matter, if at all. The soonest I received a phone call back from her was one week. I finally had to start writing letters to her b/c she would not return calls, and she would charge me for the time she took to read the letter, but would not reply. When she did return my calls, she told me to meet her 15 minutes before the court time and she would go over everthing with me. I got there 20 minutes early, and she got there 2 minutes early. When I tried to ask her questions concerning my case, she told me that she had been in the business for 17 years, and that she knew what she was doing and that she didn't have time to answer my questions, but that I should just trust her. I found four mistakes in the child support order that I had to point out to her. She also never kept me updated about the status of my case and I had to find things off the PRO.
