This attorney is a Democrat who got Schwarzenneger to appoint him to the bench in Santa Clara County. When he came up for actual election, no one ran against him, so he was "re-elected" without even having his name put on the ballot. Burdick went to law school at Santa Clara University, and he recently ruled on the recusal of one of his alumni, in fraud, another judge who was retired but brought back on contract, to double dip his pension, and who tried a case in double jeopardy, that had previously been removed to federal court, and dismissed in summary judgment with prejudice and without remand, res judicata, but retired Judge Stafford ruled in fraud to re-try that case in state court in viol. of Cal. Const. Art. 1 Sec. 5, tne 5th Amendment, and PC 656, Paul Burdict denied the recusal of his law school alumnus Stafford, from out of county. Someone needs to circulate a petition for recall of Burdick from the Santa Clara Court, as it only takes 1000 signatures to call a new election.
