Jim Hedley is the worst lawyer. He has charged my mom an exorbitant amount of money for a will that makes absolutely no sense. How is It possible that she is the beneficiary of her own will? When confronted, he made no effort to correct it. This clown should be disbarred. I will look into the better business bureau. 30 years of experience or rather ripping people off!

We have used Jim on 25 plus very large commercial real estate purchases and sales - always quality work , reasonable fees , and total satisfaction . Jim is a true gentleman and friend .Best lawyer in Winnipeg - tied with John McGoey who has also been very helpful for 40 plus years.

This fellow did my mortgage and charged me double what my previous lawyer charged for a mortgage two years earlier. Beware a lawyer with many ex wifes, always has a hand out and surprises you with fees.

Bad-tempered. He'll have his hand in your pocket before you even start a conversation with him. Make sure you get in writing the basis of his fees and the definition of scope, or he will pad his time out at $275/hr.
