Mrs. Berrett, is by far the best lawyer to seek with any type of child custody, divorce or other related matters. I hired Mrs. Berrett from a personal friend referral, for my divorce and custody battle. Mrs. Berretts attention to detail and care and compassion for her job and the well being of her client far exceeds any other lawyer i have had the pleasure of working with.

Very unprofessional, spent all my time and money gossiping. Wasted through my retainer fee on pointless issues and gossip just in time to finally make it to court. Sent my bills to my ex husbands house, I was told days before my court date (finally) I was $8000 over my retainer fee and had to pay it to even get representation at court. I was out of money. It was already $9500 and we hadn’t even made it to court. That’s just unorganized office visits where she wasted my time. I lost everything representing myself including my 1/2 of his military retirement because she overlooked one sentence. She is now taking me to court for the $8000 and has put a lien on our marital home, I also lost in the divorce respresenting myself after spending $18,000 for NOTHING! Her firm was also not helpful when I complained about her unprofessional behavior and they pretty much told me to stay quiet on my opinions of her and the firm on social media or “there would be consequences.” Do not waste your time
