Mr. Kozma sounded good at initial interview and I overlooked at least one professional reprimand.
Should have run from quirky behavior. Paid $5000 retainer and he "researched" my case for a long time after I laid out all the statutes and case law for him. He told me statute did not give me benefits I was pursuing. He told me to drop my line of argument.
I asked for an itemized refund of several thousand when his research was inept and his reports were repeated rehash. He became brittle and arrogant. Rather than explain and communicate, he ignored me and dropped all communication. I fired him and hired an appellate firm to write an argument and provided it to another trial attorneys. Appellate attorneys were great and different trial attorney was really flexible in unfamiliar territory. Won $57,000 settlement in my favor based on the precise law Kozma sloppily said offered no benefit to me. In my books, he still owes me about $2500.

We also had a probate situation. He was nice to us in the beginning. We had a 1500.00 retainer. We explained what we wanted, thought he was on the same page. Went to court and he did just what we didn't want. Because of that we had to get another appraisal-more money. When I called asking if we were on the same page on what we wanted, he got p...ed off at us-telling us how dare we question him-took himself off the case-we were dumbfounded. I cancelled the deposit on my credit card, he was not happy about that-too bad. We finally came to a compromise and used him again. Not everything from the probate was settled. We have been waiting from the sibling that is the PR to abide by the ruling. We are 3 months later. Very poor from the get go. We could have done what he did by ourself and got better results and very little money. READ READ READ his ratings! Do not recommend him at all! Will charge for everything-even though things aren't complete/satisfied-DO NOT USE!

DO NOT USE THIS MAN, he is very rude, and is not worth on penny of the 300 an hour he charges. Will come off nice and helpful at first but all will change nce he has your money. Do not use him, find someone with a heart who actually cares. Typical grease ball lawyer here

Would not recommend to anyone. Hired for parenting time paid a retainer $1500 for him to go to court the first time got nothing I wanted. Second time I went to court it wasn't what I told him I wanted brought up. Third time in court he sent his assistant and after 2 hours in court nothing changed so was a waste of my time and money. Got another bill for $300.00. Was not happy with the third court hearing so was going to go to trial he told me I need another $1000 before court in two days! Why would you pay another $1000 if he's going to send someone else to do his job and then that person after 2hours can't get what you want or at least half of what you want! Do not hire this man!!!'

our family had a brother that was excecutor of moms estate and was taking money for his own advancement.we hired Kozma to handle the legal points because we had documents supporting this,open and closed case.simple...we gave Kozma all of our info and requested to see the briefs before taking this to court to make sure it was on the same track. Mr.Kozma then writes a letter ****ing us out for wasting his time.Mr. Kozma then sends the briefs in and sends us a copy. after reading the briefs IT IS WRONG.2 weeks before abritation Mr.Kozma sends us a letter saying he wants another 5,000.00 other wise he is pulling out. After all my family has gone thru and now he puts a lein on my mothers house...on and on and on.Mr.Kozma has also threatened to sue us for treble damages. so let all of us basic people be aware of the good ol boys club going thru this so called justice system that we have..they say we have a right to defend our seleves?
