From the first day I searched for an attorney to the final court appearance, Nick was responsive to the needs of myself and my son. He gave sound advice, asked detail questions, and kept on top of all aspects of the case. My son was a juvenile at the time of the arrest and a felony conviction could have turned his young adult life in a totally different direction. My son was in a very dark place in his life due to the unexpected death of his father. Nick had us do all the right things. My son ended up with a stay of adjudication, probation, and community service.

Overall I thought Nick was the best option for the money. He was on point with all the options and had a good communication with the judge, which made it easier for him to let me pass on some fines.

The deal Nick worked out was unbelievable! I feel Nick has a true & complete understanding of how important reputation & character are to a mans success. I think this may have something to do with why he is consistently effective & efficient. That; & pure natural ability, only wish I would have learned of Nick years ago. One of Nick's motto's is "A CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY THAT WON'T JUST HOLD YOUR HAND AND PLEAD YOU GUILTY." Yet this is exactly what I experienced when retaining Nick to help "fight" my case. My case was the first and last I've ever had, so if I wasn't able to beat the case I was already aware of the first offenders program I would get as a part of my plea deal. This plea deal is something I could've received without having to pay Nick, so I was expecting some aggressiveness to get better than that when retaining Nick. He must've left it in the arena back when Nick allegedly cage fought. The only thing Nick was aggressive about was getting his payment from me, he even went as far as to "forget" that I made a payment to him and asked me for another one. I had to bring up my bank statements just to prove to him that I paid him. Upon first meeting with Nick, he was positive that I would get my charges drop and started listing off avenues he would take to do that. Dont hire this lawyer.

Nick Gegen will take your legal situation to heart. He will personally represent you on a one on one basis, no other middleman involved. Nick promptly returns phone calls and does a great job of keeping you informed. I was facing a number of false charges that had some very serious consequences. Nick was able to work things out with the DA and the result was no jail time! After two & half years of hell Nick Gegen was able to get my life back!!

Nick is the man. He was aggressive and tough in courtroom, but still likeable and friendly towards the jury. Works hard and has that natural swagger the best lawyers need. Nick ended up getting me acquitted from my charge. His closing statement owned the prosecutor's, and the jury only needed 15 minutes of deliberation. 5/5 for me.

Facing prison time and serious fines from my last DWI, I entrusted Nick with my life as the case went to trial. Nick, courageously, put the cop on the stand and sliced him up. Nick expertly steered the cop into saying things not allowed from pre-trial conditions and WHAMMO!! Nick hit the jugular vein and won me a Mistrial....saved my life! Nick is GOLDEN when it comes to justice!

Atty. Nick Gegen is an extremely knowledgeable criminal defense attorney. He always got back to me in a very timely manner from day one thru the sentencing date and even afterwards. I have utilized the services of Nick Gegen in the past for cases. He is an excellent Attorney. He puts the time and effort into cases to provide his clients with the best representation possible. His fees are extremely reasonable and he will provide you representation well beyond what you are paying for. I found that Nick is not out to make the fast dollar. Nick Gegen is an exceptional lawyer who showed genuine care and concern for me by taking his time to listen to my case, promptly returning my calls, and actively working on my behalf in a respectful and professional manner. Nick persuaded a city attorney to not press charges on me for a "crime" that a few dishonest police officers alleged I had committed. He also helped me get back a valuable piece of property that the police confiscated from me.
