Horrible attorney,.. and I use that term attorney loosely. No ethics,. Lazy,.. disorganized,.. very good at lip service and excuses. Charges are horrendous for doing nothing. It's simply about the money with him.He does Not have the best interest of his clients. It's all about the dollar signs with him.Look ELSEWHERE!

My experiences include charging more than $10,000 to fight a dispute about $10,000 and losing; recommend refusing a large settlement only to charge massive fees to get less; NEVER doing case research, NEVER being prepared, and frequently only have some incredible and made-up fact pattern as argument. Ask other leading lawyers in Virginia about him before ever hiring him. My experience was you will hear (after the fact in my case) many off-the-record evaluations that he's horrible and at best, lots of "no comments."

Did a great job for me in my divorce case. Stayed on top of everything and I felt like he was very honest and realsitic with me. Staff was very helpful too, (I walked in and called a lot) I was always kept informed. I was referred to him by somoeone who used him for a criminal case. A+++++ in my book!

The one thing that he does know, is to run up your bill and does nothing for it.

Horrendous - does NOTHING and charges huge fees - never filed papers to go to court and worse, never served the ex or ex's attorney with divorce papers - lost over 3 years of back spousal and child support because of him and had to get a competent lawyer that was stuck with Mr. Gulick's mess to clean up as best as he could - legal bills are more than was even in dispute
