Mark Welton is a horrible person and attorney. He uses his Church as his cover.If you make the mistake of hiring him for anything ensure you keep detailed notes of the 5 W's who...what...when.where and why. Do not believe anything he tells you. It must be written down. Always check the fine print. Estate planning...criminal...civil do thrust him. Two years ago Welton advised me to put a family members on my home deed He forgot to tell me that now my sister owns my home. She will not allow me to take out funds for my retirement. It is a complete nightmare....Welton told me, " not my problem. " If that man is a Christian...my dog is a fighter pilot BEWARE

He was horrible. I would NOT recommend him to anyone. He tries to use his faith to prove he is a honest caring man, however he is the complete opposite. He is rude and inconsiderate. Once he has his money he is no longer interested in the case or doing a good job. He hardly returns any of your calls or emails and when he does it is completely unprofessional. My biggest regret was working with him. He is NOT a good person and I advise everyone to STAY AWAY!!

Mark represented me in a civil case in the north florida district, defending my retirement accounts from being garnished. Mark was not prepared or have the proper evidence needed to not allow my retirement accounts from being garnished. He blamed the judge for the decision and was ready to defend me in an appeal, not telling me that in the appeals process no more evidence can be introduced. He also wanted another $3500 on top of the $2500 retainer I had already given him. I recieved my first bill in the mail and was in disbelief of the charges. Mark represents himself as a christian man, discussing GOD and even offering to pray for you while at the same time unethically billing you with rediculous charges. He is a preditor using his faith to justify his actions. Mark not only gives attorney's a bad name but is a discrase to his faith. My retirement is gone but my will to help others to not be mislead and misrepresented has grown stronger.

This is a guy who will talk in circles and say what you want to hear but never carry through.
