Mr. Bice could be a good attorney, if you happen to catch him at a time when he wants your business. My experience, and that of many posting in this venue, is that he is competent on ONLY THOSE OCCASIONS WHEN IT SUITS HIM. If you want an attorney who is good WHEN YOU NEED IT, find a different attorney, there are many, many good attorneys in Lynchburg who will work hard for you 100% of the time, not just when it suits them to do so.

If you are looking for legal representation, David Bice should be at the top of your list! Mr. Bice served as counsel for a custody hearing and did an outstanding job. I found him to be knowledgeable of the law and his preparation was remarkable. I was very impressed with his attention to detail including taking the time to research the judge and opposing counsel. His court room savvy is a tribute to his confidence which is unmatched by anyone in Lynchburg or surrounding area. His office is well managed and though he has many clients, I was given the confidence as to the importance of my case. Mr. Bice was very honest when explaining legal options and always allowed me to make the decisions as to my desires. He makes every effort to keep your case affordable and never advises you in an attempt to make more money. I have recommended him to friends and family who have also been very satisfied. If I was again ever in a situation requiring legal counsel, I wouldn’t hesitate to call him.

After all the negative posts I have just read, I would never consider this lawyer but it is quite the opposite. He knows what he is doing and where the pieces fit. His knowledge in the field is precise and has original ways of exposing the truth. For the ones that posted negative comments, maybe he didn't waste his time on you due to the fact that your ridiculous and unethical. Money should never be an issue if what you need and want in life is handed to you by Mr. Bice on a silver platter. I am going through a difficult divorce and he has yet to disappoint me in any ways. Honesty about the case and what your chances are of winning is not held back but told to you before you face the judge. Thank you Mr. Bice!

He's not competent. Can't remember things. Doesn't know the law. By the time he produces a document, he usually looks up the law and gets it right, but it takes him months to do a two page document and he'll charge you thousands of dollars for research and consultation on the simplest matters.

David Bice is lazy, poorly informed and does everything late. You have to continually remind him of what you've talked about and nag him to produce his work. He's the WORST! I wouldn't hire him again to rake my leaves.

To sum up, half-ass. He just wants your money. Once he has it, he does a half-ass job. He never directly answered my questions and it was like he was tired or bored all the time. I really question whether he knows much at all - there was no evidence that he did.
