I live out of state and was referred to her by a friend. She took my retainer money, and as soon as she realized my case wasn't the kind to be settled quickly and without much work, did everything she could to withdraw.She failed to timely file motions, basic objections, or discovery requests.

I was very pleased with Mrs. Wilson and her staff. They were very organized and dependable. She was my lawyer from start to finish on my recent divorce and I feel that everything turned out very fair for both my ex and I when it comes to our children. She was very good about keeping the kids out of it and keeping their best interests in mind. I recommend her to anyone I know going through a divorce.

Just plain terrible. Out over 3k and still no divorce. Do not come to this office unless you dont care about how much money you blow and it taking 3 times as long as it should. As long as your pockets are not dry they will drag this out as long as they can. RUN!!!

Maybe at one time there was quality, but this is a firm that wants if quick and easy. Be warned. At the start you will feel that your best interest is taken in, but when it comes to listening to you the client, they don't give you credit....and will write of off on emotions. Granted family law is ripe with emotions, but take note that when children are involved, becoming combative with your client is not good representation or representative of the legal field.

Don't pass your hard earned cash to her, she preys on your distraught state of mind and gives you false hope. You want to get your spouses attention, save your money and spend it on counseling or special trip to resolve your situation and definitely find a different lawyer than her, she will bleed you dry. She doesn't indicate the overall effect any of your decisions will have on the spouse and if any children. That is when she charges more time on your account. She lives and drives vehicles better than you don't be sucked in.

My divorce was just finalized and Susan did a fantastic job representing me and listening to my problems. She was able to get me what I wanted without tearing up my family. Many divorces I know have drug their kids into it and this was not the case. Susan did an excellent job and was always on time and efficient. She told me my responsibilities up front and her staff made sure that I stayed up to date and on top of everything. I really appreciate her friendliness and relaxed attitute, it really made me feel better about what is never a fun situation.

She got me a divorce very quickly and got me pretty much everything I asked for. She was honest and told me the truth about what I could expect.

If I could rate at a double negative I would do just that! This attorney should get out of the business. I went from being current on child support payments(never missed a payment from day of conception for 16yrs0 to being $8k behind and paying roughly $1100 for one child when I have 3 others I care for. She did not fight, was totally unprepared, gave hes 2k upfront just for her to mail me the same stuff over and over. I drove all the way from VA to attend court just to stand in the hallway while she and the other lawyer chatted it up with the judge. Then she made the comment "What are you angry for, you got away with paying 245 for fifteen years!" Whose side is she on is what I asked myself, to put it nicely on this page. Then she said that I could talk to the judge after the decision had already been decided. She sold me up the creek and then had nerve to send me a bill for $800 more. Stay away unless you have deep pockets and do not care about winning in court From a Broken Soldier!

I found she and her whole staff to be incompetent. She couldn't answer questions asked. I am guessing the reason for the 2,500. retainer is because once you find out she is incompetent she has at least suckered you out of 25 grand. I didn't have the extra money nor time to start over with another lawyer. I had to do my own research on line to see what rights I had as a plaintiff, I drafted my own divorce contract via email between my ex myself and her staff, and still they couldn't even type it correctly. Wrongly spelled names of my kids, wrong ages, dates of birth ect...I had to be meticulous in re-reading for corrections several times and every time I found a typo they had to changed it cost me more money. If I remember correctly 50 bucks a pop. She is a sad commentary in our times. I believe it should be against the law for lawyers like her to be able to practice.

I would not reccomend her to anyone. She was totally not prepared and didn't fight for me and my ex ended up getting custody of the kids. But that only lasted for a year. Someone called DCFS on my ex. I got a better lawyer and he got me my kids back and set everything right. She totally skrewed everything up.

She is like a used car salesman. Telling what you want to hear to sell you on hiring her. She drags it out to increase fees and does not fight for you. She takes money that should be going to the children. She forgets what you talk about in the meeting she charges you for. She is always at he local bars instead of doing her best for you and your children.
