Mr. Beam took my $2,500 and would not return my calls. He waited until the day of court to speak to me. He took the option that I should have the right to a speedy trial, WITHOUT first discussing it with me. When you opt to "hire" Stephen Beam, you work for him, because he DOES NOT work for you! I still can't believe he WAS the resident of the OK Bar Association!! He should know better. As of late, I have repeatedly requested an itemized statement for the work he did on my case, and after a year of requests, I still can't get one. He took all of my money and REFUSES to refund the majority of the fee, as he did very little work on my case, & I am due a refund. I have had to retain another lawyer & considering that I am disabled, Mr. Beam has created a terrible hardship concerning my fixed income. I do not enjoy having to resort to a rating concerning Mr. Stephen Beam, but he has put me in a corner. As a concerned citizen for my fellow man, I urge you NOT TO HIRE HIM. W. Covalt.
