My experience was that Mr. Demers displayed basic knowledge of the bankruptcy law and process. His communications were brief, repetitious, unprofessional and many times off point. Mr. Demers requested documents multiple times which displayed his lack of organization. The billing that I had received was created in Microsoft word in paragraph format which was also very unprofessional. (Not even a letter head?) Also, even though we were quoted for a legal assistant, Mr Demers charged us his rates for work that should have, could have been completed by a legal assistant at half the rate. Please be aware also that Mr Demers is no longer part of demersdixon. The new firm he is with is called 6 lakes legal service. He works out of a rented office space in Southfield.
