I paid my ex $10,000 at divorce to help her get a house. It was to be put, with interest, into an account for kids college, with she and I as co-signers. She refused, and used the money for my troubled oldest. Of 6 semesters, he finished one class. I tried to get this account established for my second son. I stopped paying incidental med expenses to my ex, but payed larger (orthodontics and surgery) bills invoiced directly by the doc. At trial, Palumbo did not: dispute any college expenses (judge thought I was deadbeat), ask for repayment of the college fund, dispute my son’s emancipation (not full time student). Additionally, my ex presented medical bills back over 10 years. Palumbo refused to dispute any of them. Over $4000 was fraudulent – paid by insurance, paid by me directly, or submitted as the full charge instead of just the deductable. Palumbo was worthless, and he did not challenge anything that would allow me to appeal. He charged me thousands for this!
