I'm writing to caution domestic abuse and violence survivors against working with Attorney Susan Lach. When I picked her as a parenting consultant I briefed her and made it clear how communication needed to flow to protect my mental health. When I attempted to use her services, she sent the most tone deaf, insulting, and triggering email that it left me reeling.
I complained and sent her links to several online courses that teach how to better speak to survivors. I also demanded an apology (obviously, not yet forthcoming). Instead of doing any of the above she charged me $80 for my complaint. Her firm thought that it was ethically acceptable to charge someone for complaining about their service.
her overall professionalism is lacking - ignoring emails, failing to send a vacation notification, and then she accidentally replied "ignore her" to me instead of her admin (so, rude).

Ms. Lach represented me in my divorce. I never write reviews but felt compelled to after my experience being represented by her. She comes across tough and firm but grew tired and lazy on my case. Many important details were missed which eventually had to be taken care of by her previous law firm (Messerli & Kramer). That firm agreed that she had mishandled items for me which they took care on her behalf. I would caution anyone considering using Ms. Lach
