Helen Rice Grinder is not a good attorney. She avoids direct communication with clients and will not return phone calls. She should not be practicing law at all. She also seems very unorganized. She has an extremely high turnover rate amongst her legal assistants. She is on number 4 since she's been acting as my husband's attorney.

When I hired Helen my sons mother had done everything including making false battery charges against me, then filed emergency custody, which limited me to supervised visitation until that matter was dropped. Helen did more in the first 30 minutes than the attorney I hired had in 3 months. I now have my son just shy of half the month. In court she does not back down and is not intimidated. She gets her points across and doesn't play games. If I would not have hired Helen I would hate to think of the position my son and I would have ended up in.

This law office does a terrible job of follow through with their obligations to their clients and submitting documents on time. The Legal Assistant is very unprofessional and unethical in the way she conducts business. She displayed this on four different occasions. The client's personal information is not safe guarded it just sits on tables and desks all around the office. If you don't like their services they will not refund any part of your legal fees even if they haven't gone to trial on your behalf. Very dishonest. They give lawyers a bad name.

This is the best lawyer, I asked friends of mine in the legal field if they had to fight for their children who they would use, and 3 out of the 4 said "Call Helen" - Her staff is great and as you can imagine they are busy. I went from having children removed because of false accusations to having my children 12 out of 14 days.

You get what you pay for, and she's the best. She is a lawyer who will do everything she can to make sure your rights are protected. I glad she was my lawyer
