When Kristin started her own practice i was one of her first clients. We started out well, however, as she got more busy, she was dropping balls, mangling facts, and was increasingly short fused. I had serious concerns about follow through and when I raised them she verbally assaulted me. I changed lawyers, and while I owed her a small amount, I refused to pay on the basis of her poor performance. She has since then harassed me, meddled in my active case, and has attempted multiple times to file small claims against me (i'm not even living in oregon) spending many many more hours being vindictive than the amount I owed her was even worth. I have formally filed a complaint with the OSB. This is not a fee dispute, this lady is vindictive and chaotic.

All talk, no action, in it for the money--as much of yours as she can get, she'll throw her own client under the bus, e.g., when she's late with something, which is often, she'll tell opposing counsel it was her client's fault. Only communicate with her in writing.
