This lawyer "fired" us because he claimed that we did not take his recommendations. Yes, we expressed concern and asked questions about where we were in process. We questioned certain recommendations and asked others for opinions. We sought clarity and understanding about very important decisions. We asked questions about things we've heard or read about in regard to elder care law. This didn’t sit well with him, and he expected us to blindly take his recommendations and not question them (even when, at the 11th hour (we were under a time crunch), they deviated from his previous recommendations). He made false claims about the communication between him and others involved in this case. He even hung up on a member of my family who was simply expressing concern about the time crunch we were in.
He also refused to communicate with anyone from my family except for one person.
The only conclusion I can draw from this experience is that he wasn't as much of an expert as he claimed to be
