Another reviewer wrote, "Attorney Cavey has devoted her entire life to helping people get the disability benefits they desperately need and deserve. Florida is the hardest state in which to get benefits awarded." This statement is very true!
Attorney Cavey and her team helped me to understand the long process for putting my disability application together. Her legal staff was very patient with me and they helped me acquire and assemble the required documentation from three medical professionals who determined my full disability status.

The Law firm of Nancy L Cavey and her team are handling both my appeal to Long Term Disability and my Social Security claim. I can not express how happy I was to find her. I was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. Once I contacted Nancy she explained both processes to me in a way I could understand. Her and her team are not only very professional and knowledgeable they took me through every step of the process letting me know what to expect and making me feel comfortable. Ms Cavey's primary client is herself and her effort is focused foremost on maximizing her fees with the least effort. In other words she leaves a lot of your money on the table once the settlement is unlikely to get much better without a lot of the more intensive work and time consuming aspects of the work. Some services are staged to push you to settle, like expensive mock juries who are manipulated to make you think you will lose at trial. This is accomplished by distorting what and how the mock jury is told about the facts. Other manipulation is through reminders that the client must pay for things like transcripts, travel etc, etc.
