I was involved in a rear-end collision just over 3 years ago and, after an exhaustive search, found David. After reading through numerous 5 star reviews, I felt as if I had found the attorney I wanted to represent me in this matter. Following a phone call and an initial consultation in his office, I knew in my gut I had made the right choice. He was very down-to-earth, listened intently to my concerns, and took copious notes as I related what had happened. On a deeper level, and this is still true today as it was then, he demonstrated he truly cared about me and my overall well-being. For the next 3 years as I navigated my way through treatment, David responded almost immediately to my email questions and/or updates. If I ever needed to speak with him directly, he would always find the time to return calls quickly, never leaving me wondering when I’d hear back. I don't even know where to start...David is a true blessing in disguise and am fortunate enough to have access to him via USC's legal consultation services. My roommate and I were fraudulently induced into signing a lease that has led to the past six months of wondering what we can/cannot do as a form of being relieved of the situation. Fortunately, with David's guidance, we have been able to make ground on knowing our rights as tenants, what is legal/illegal in a rental property, among other knowledge that we would have never known to have explored/thought of. He is extremely qualified as a lawyer, especially in this type of law. Would definitely recommend again.

I was dealing with a terrible landlord. Not only was Mr Payab very knowledgeable, he was also intelligent on how he applied his knowledge. He helped me and my roommate formulate a strategy for responding and proceeding forward. He was very kind, honest, well spoke , and explained everything very clearly and thoroughly. Some lawyers just tell you what to do without explaining the logic behind it. He however, explained things to me so that I left feeling I had also learned a lot about the law pertaining to my situation and was not just blindly operating. Everything worked out in our favor as a result of his advice and we couldn’t be more pleased. Had it not been for his help, this landlord would have taken complete advantage of us.

I came to David with a housing issue. My security deposit was past due. David was cautious to ask me about several details, reviewed my lease, and was knowledgeable of the problem. He provided me with practical advice and resources that I could use to resolve the problem. Additionally, I followed up with David over several days regarding my issue. His response time was less than 24 hours and he provided me with further legal counsel via email correspondence. I would return for more legal counsel should I need it and would recommend his services.

I have been getting David's ongoing consultations through the USC Campus center. He is very patient with whatever questions that you might have in your mind. If he does not know something for sure, he is very honest about it and will not mislead you with inappropriate or wrong info. He is a very knowledgeable and experienced lawyer. David is a really nice, warm person that instantly makes you feel comfortable. If you're going to talk to a lawyer, you're probably a little stressed about something. I hired the Law Offices of Payab & Associates to advocate my case on a car accident case. My passenger and I were injured in a 4-car vehicle collision and we had to seek therapy for 3 months. Mr. Payab welcomed us in his office to discuss our case. Mr. Payab assured us that he would do his very best to advocate me and my passenger's case to the best of his capability. While my passenger and I visited our own personal doctors, Law Offices of Payab & Associates was in contact with the opposing counsel, my insurance, and the doctors to pursue our case to completion. Recently, I hired Mr. Payab regarding an employment matter where I was wrongfully terminated from my job. Although, my former employer went out of business, Mr. Payab was able to hold the parent company liable for my damages. Mr. Payab was also able to overcome the fact that the former employee whom harassed me was nowhere to be found and I had no witnesses to corroborate the facts of my case. Despite all the difficulties in my case, Mr. Payab was able to secure a rather large settlement against the parent company. I am very happy with the results in my case. Mr. Payab and his staff are extremely knowledgeable regarding employment litigation and specialize in employment matters, and I definitely recommend him regarding any employment or wrongful termination matters.

My story is long, cuz he dragged a simple traffic accident settlement dispute case for months. But I will keep it simple just to get my point proven: He is a despicable shister!!!
Unethical conducts: encouraged me to go on physical therapy and psychiatry ( I had minor injuries from the accident) to "build" the case, though I told him I didn't really need it. AND the physical therapist and psychiatrist he was referring me to could provide him "favorable" records and wouldn't charge me until my case settle. After knowing I wasn't going the whatever "therapist" and "psychiatrist" he was referring to a few months after. He yield at me on the phone and proposed to stop working on my case.
5. The best part! He is still asking for 33% percentage of my settlement from the other party! Despite the fact he hasn't done jack for my case, except for wasting my precious time ( And hey my settlement didn't increase penny)
