Recently my former husband posted a poor rating using me as the reason.His rating could not be turhter from the truth. Donna Buttler represented me when I most needed someone in my corner to protect my children and me. My former husband was abusive, and an alcoholic. He has never paid child support. She was able to get me a Restraining Order after 2 days of trial, which protected my 2 small children and me. Two years later, after he was released from ail, she was by my side when he tried to get custody of the children again. The court extended the restraining order based on his actions and no one else's. Donna Buttler should not be criticized for doing her job, which for me was a lifesaver.

I am a client represented by Attorney Donna Buttler for the past six years in a post-judgement child custody battle. Donna is extremely professional, precise and has expertise in family law. She has helped guide me through a very long and grueling process to protect my children physically and emotionally. With the best interest of the children in mind, she motioned to involve the GAL (gardian ad litem) to represent them. With situations of physical, emotional abuse and neglect of children as well as substance abuse, mental illness, narcissistic personality disorder, pathological lies and manipulation, the process of court becomes excruciating. Donna stood firm and was my voice when I could not speak for myself. Courts and attorneys do not alienate children from their parents, as a matter of fact it often is too late before anything is done to protect a child from an abusive situation. It takes substantial documentation and evidence for such to take place.

This woman (Donna Buttler) has been raking my ex wife over the coals for years and creating chaos for more billable hours. She files false motions and even when I attempt to contact her firm or her personally, she will not respond. She holds me in contempt even though I provide all information for her and or her firm and provides false statements on the record to the court. This is not an attorney you can trust. This is an abomination and a person whom is an advocate for parental alienation at its finest. This woman's actions divides families. Look at her ratings and be the judge for once. I have my own mistakes to account for, but this woman is not professional and will do anything to destroy families for billable hours. 4 years and still going on and on with frivolousness. I want to work with my ex and she creates a chaotic narrative.

if this attorney is the standard which all are judged by, than we are in lots of trouble! this lawyer should be disbarred not only for her outrageous behavior,but her inability to come to solutions where her own client is not infringed upon! in a recent case her client, (Donna was fired there after) was utterly made to cry in front of the other lawyer and her ex! Donna is an arrogant, rude, and looks at her own clients as if they are the problem!! at this case she told her own client that her ex, was actually a nice person who needs to be treated with kids gloves, and her client was the cause of the conflict! solutions you want, you may as well give it all to the other side , since Donna will not even consult with her clients in regards to options they may have, she just comes with what she deems right in her own mind! when confronted with errors and omissions , Donna's response was "DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO ALL THE THINKING?" she sure knows how to do the billing!BEWARE OF THIS ONE!

Attorney Buttler is simply a self serving legal billing machine who perpetuates an air of mistrust between the parties as a means to establish personal primacy in the collaborative process. While she had our trust, she took my ex and I on a long, expensive, unnecessary and unproductive journey. Donna's version of Family Law is what gives good attorneys a bad name.

this lawyer charged an immigrant young lady,with children,one handicapped with special needs,who works for just above minimum, over $40,000.00 to represent her in a divorce.No trial,not much discovery.Excessive,stay away.A license to steal
