Richard was my divorce lawyer until I fired him. He kept dragging out my divorce. He kept telling me we couldn't get a court date because the court log was backed up. My sister-in-laws cousin works at the court house. She told me there is not back log. Kunkel is a liar.

A waste of my time and money. This guy continually ignored my calls about my case (but called back IMMEDIATELY when threatened with termination). Did not inform me when he actually performed services and was shocked when I fired him. The firm itself is similarly incompetent: unreturned calls, improper billing, practically no communication. It took 3 calls just to pay my retainer. The firm administrator is toothless; multiple complaints did not resolve my issues (in fact, they got worse). I wish I had more written documentation to file an ABA complaint. Constant unfulfilled promises, shifting timelines, etc. At the end of many months of this drama, he had his paralegal dump my divorce agreement on me with a note to contact them if I had any questions. Never made an effort to reach out to address my unresolved divorce matters, as I had to do this myself. Reprehensible. I hate this guy, and he clearly has no vested interest in your case. Sociopathic indifference. Avoid at all costs.

The worst representation I have had this guy does not protect your rights. He is only interested in dragging out a divorce to collect fees..in addition , he can not think outside the box !

I have no idea why this guy is a part of such a big name law firm. He continues to send bills without fighting for results. Waited a MONTH for him to get back to me and finally i called him...leading to another bill, but no action. I am so disappointed with his lack of attention to my case as well as the endless fees I receive. for what?? I could not be less satisfied with the "representation" I've received from this lawyer. He will not fight for my case at all but wait, i still have to pay. If he would get his fat butt off his high dollar chair and do his job maybe he would be worth the cost. Let me tell you that he had no problem taking my case ($) and being atament about the merits and plain fact that I was in the right and should move forward with a case but when nothing was resolved he just stopped working toward a resolution as if he was dragging things out on purpose to increase income without doing any work. So far I have witnessed nothing more than spineless babble from Konkel
