Guy made things worse than they were before, didnt follow my instructions, & resulted in YEARS of more & worse problems. Also charged an outrageous amount (in advance) to attend a hearing w/no validity where petition was thrown out for a no show (who never could have supported his motion & lied in affidavit to file it). Didnt even give a receipt since he had the $ transferred into his personal account. Devastating damage by dubious lawyer

David has represented me for over 30 years, starting with a divorce that lasted 2 years because my ex was uncooperative in every phase of the divorce. Then he represented my daughter when she was in a car accident. David helped me make critical decisions, always with my best interests as his main concern. He has also represented me with real estate purchases and in writing my will. I am happy to recommend him and I have referred family members and friends to him over the years. They have thanked me for the referral and commented on how David committed he was to handling their personal situation for a fair price. They have also referred him to others because of their experience with this man.

I hired David Bazar, Esq. after my ex-wife made my life a living hell concerning the divorce and custody of my child. I have been in court once a month since August 2011. David consistently did not return calls or emails. I probably could have done a better job of handling the case myself after seeing the lack of work from David and his office. To date, I still do not have a copy of the court order since the court date in mid-February 2012. What a waste of money to hire this attorney. David was a terrible attorney for purposes of finishing the divorce and child custody. Save your money and hire someone else!!!

I am not a lawyer, but I found David Bazar to be quite intelligent and helpful with my case. He was always available to answer any and all of my questions. ( Trust me, I had a lot) He was extremely thorough and followed through with everything through my settlement- going above and beyond the call of duty. I am a lawyer myself, and once I needed help with a contract matter when I was living away from RI. I was referred to David by a mutual professional acquaintance. Words cannot describe how bad he was. He did very, very, very little work on my case, as far as I could see. He took full advantage of the fact that I lived out of state. He basically lost my case for me (and I had a pretty good case). At one point, he became completely unavailable for about 2 weeks--he would not take my calls at all. During a crucial point in my case. He had his nephew (a very limited young man) do all the legal writing in this case. Needless to say, the nephew did a very bad job. David was unaccessible, unprofessional and lacked real desire to work. Worst of all, he did not settle the case when (out of frustration) we ordered him to give the plaintiff what they wanted. He continued to negotiate against our wishes, because he would benefit. Stay away from David Bazar!
