He's a snake and represented my son in a criminal case without my knowledge covered for his brother knowing he was hiding the fact that my son had been charged with a felony. He helped my x hide him made false accusations etc. He's a criminal. He also had a divorce case not long after he married his client. He also was married to a lawyer he went to school and soon after divorced her. Nice.

If you are considering a Divorce attorney, stay clear of the Law Offices of Barry T. Ward currently working out of Fullerton, CA. I was referred to Mr. Ward by the Bill Handel web site at http://handleonthelaw.com who I would have expected to only give out quality referrals sent me to a attorney with an hidden agenda (read more about attorney hidden agendas at this web site which I found very interesting...but sadly after the fact, http://www.childcustodycoach.com/atto...) Mr. Ward turned out to be no more than a guy who preys on clients emotions, takes a non-refundable retainer for $5000, quickly uses it up with silly things like filing notices to the court when he won't be available, doubling up on telephone call billing (Versus Cell records, on EVERY call) and other stuff until the retainer is gone. Then he withdrawls from the case after doing nothing for you. I've been checking court records on him and this is his pattern and he's done it over 100 times.
