Please, please try and avoid this attorney, especially if it is a serious matter. Just mention his name around town and expect to be asked to leave! I am convinced you are better off just talking to the judge yourself. You will get a better deal. He does not bother to review any documents or deals given to you by the court. In my case the offer was a stiffer sentence than was required. He doesn't seem to care. If court appointed, request a new attorney before it's to late. If you have money, go outside the area for legal advice. In my case he didn't tell me anything I couldn't get off the internet or from a stranger at the library. Both more reliable sources than him. He uses a private detective who also is the local drug evaluator. Neither one appears to do anymore than run you through the mill and make you look bad. Please look elsewhere. Or better yet, stay clear of Baker City and do yourself a favor!
