Obviously the losing parent in a contentious divorce will be bitter - but that has little to do with this man's failures to represent "the child" when he was hire to do so. Even though his colleagues may appreciate his vast experience - we (as grandparents) did not admire the way he bald faced lied to us on more than a few occassions,showed obvious bias, instigated problems to stretch out billable hours, communicated very little with his actual client, rubber stamped the work of others rather than follow up on virtually anything he chose to avoid. Oh - he's good all right. I would say "slick" is a better word.

I have had many dealing with Family Court system, both for clients and myself. Bill Benjamin has been the sharpest lawyer that I have dealt with. He is an expert in high conflict cases and very easy to get along with as a client. One of the reasons that he is so effective is that, in close to 40 years of practicing family law he has become one of the most respected lawyers by the judges in the family court system. He is well known to be highly ethical and extremely well versed in historical case law. I actually felt compelled to write this after reading an angry ranting review from some guy who lost against him. Obviously, Mr. Benjamin represented the guy's ex-wife... I think I would be far more interested in hearing her opinion. I'm sure that she thinks Benjamin was amazing!

This man is a SCAM artist if there ever was one. He also lacks integrity, and will take you to the cleeners (as in Superior Court and garnish your wages) IF you don't pay all of the Bills that accrue as a result of the contention that he will stir up. He also slandered me repeatedly in court and got away with it, but because I ran out of money, I also lost the ability to keep fighting over every (false) accusation that Mr. Benjamin and/or his client (my former spouse) would bring up. My advice is unless you HATE your former spouse and have LOTS of MONEY, and don't care about whether your children ever get to "visit" with their other Half, then STAY away from this professional Lieyer and Crook.
