I had a bad accident that has left me permanently impaired. I found Mr. Jacobs who seemed very compassionate and competent at first but that turned out to be very untrue. Once I signed up the level of concern and compassion diminished over time. I was kept in the dark throughout. Phone calls not returned. Long painful story short, I ended up with hardly any money from the insurance company. I only settled because Mr Jacobs convinced me that going to trial would be very difficult and risky. After the settlement I have since spoken with other local lawyers who told me convincingly that I took way too little given the circumstances and my injuries. All I can say is do not use Mr. Jacobs or his firm. They promised me so much more than they delivered. I think they are running a high volume firm where they convince clients to accept much less than could be gotten by a more robust prosecution. That of course would take some work from them. Its no wonder lawyers have such a bad name.
