"Richard" is not who he appears to be! Not sure what his day job really is, but he's Definitely NOT an attorney! He didn't know the difference between a document or an exibit!! I want to know who is the face behind Richard Shannon Lord... The truth always floats to the top!

In my professional career, I deal with a lot of lawyers.BEWARE this is the worst lawyer you ever find. We offered him money-he refused to provide FEIN. Telling lies to everybody. I do not know why Bar Association do not take any action.

Mr Lord was given to my Son as a Court Appointed He Did Nothing but collected the state's money there were 3 defendants in this case 1 got 7 yrs probation, 1 got 5 yrs probation and My Son which was represented by mr lord got 15 yrs do 8 yrs and After my Son asked him to ask for time Served and he told my son he himself would have to ask for He NEVER RETURNS CALLS OR GOES TO JAIL AND VISIT his Clients the 1 time i got him on phone I asked a Simple Question "Since you just got this case are you going to leave him in jail and ask for a continuous or are you bring him up." I was Answered with I Don't answer Hyperthical questions.HOW STUPID is he that was a simple question. Then in court he had the gaw to turn and smile at me like Mama I Just Screwed Your Son Haha Don't know about his family practice but if this man is given to Your family as Court Appointed PLEASE PLEASE Hire One Because this Man Just WANTS Your Money and the States A Demon for Sure

He is an awful attorney who will lie to you about the costs,and stall a simple divorce even after you,and spouse agree on everything.He especially takes advantage of women that are going through a hard time.He has no compassion whatsoever.He garnished my checking account for the full amount even after he agreed to take payments in court.He lies,and can't be trusted.He will try to take you for a ride,and drag your divorce out as long as he can to get more money.Stay away from him.He will cause you more grief,and stress than your actual divorce.

This lawyer should have been disbarred YEARS ago! Absolute horror!Reported to Bar Association and of course they support and back the lawyers. Sad, what a joke of supposed justice with ZERO accountability for this piece of trash!

It was the worst mistake of my life to hire Richard Lord. Since my legal experience was a first for me I trusted he knew what he was doing. Not the case at all. I expected two communication prior to going to court to build the case and strategize. Unfortunately he went to court unprepared and to make matters worst he arrived late! Needless to say we lost our case and my son went to jail. If only he had presented all of the pertinent facts to the judge - you know- really put on a defense. So I had to pay another attorney to undo what he did and exercise my sons rights. I just don't understand how he is still practicing nevermind attracting clients. Be afraid people!

Mr. Lord carefully read through my documents and researched my case. He asked me if I wanted to counter claim. I felt like I received extra due diligence. I had alot of help from him and his staff with answering interrogatories and admissions. He communicated with me often to guide my case. When the opposing side wanted to meet, Mr. Lord carefully guided the conversation and discussions during the meeting. He prepared and met with me to discuss strategy before the meeting. I was very pleased.

Stay far away! It was a waste of my money and I am reporting him to the Bar of GA, as soon as can.I have nothing good to say about this lawyer. He made mistakes from the beginning. It was all confusing at a time when you need someone to straighten the procedure out for you. I received no helpful communication. I feel that I ran my case. His documents are templates that he customizes to your case, very minimally. He will take your money and then WIthdraw from the case. HORRIBLE

He knows how to send a bill, but that is about all. After 5 months, he never even requested discovery documents from opposing counsel... He claimed he forgot... I could not even get him to file mediation. He withdrew himself from my case when I called him on it. He ran my bill up to $3,800.00 and never did a thing for me. Waste of money. I am thinking abour reporting him to the bar association. Just not sure what good it would do.

Stay far away - he stalls simple cases, doesn't pursue actively, and does not work to the client's advantage. He personally cost me some important details in my divorce decree, and made decisions especially contrary to my needs and my children's. He is not trustworthy or reliable, and when confronted with his sever mistakes, he acts confused and constantly replies, "I don't follow." STAY FAR AWAY.
