We hired Ms. Brown Furness for a simple modification to an existing parenting time agreement. She gave us an estimate for two possible paths which we used to not only choose our path forward but to select her vs. another attorney to proceed with filing the papers. She insists on writing your affidavit for you, which is very time consuming. She refuses to answer simple questions over the phone or e-mail, instead forces you to make an in person appt at which she then talks about numerous other things racking up the time spent in her office. She did not keep us at all informed on what was happening and was very slow to make any progress on filing the necessary papers, then charged for each time we asked for a status update since we were receiving no communication from her. A simple motion mod which should have taken 4-6 weeks ending up dragging on for 7 months and the other party never even obtained an attorney and was a no show at the hearing.
