Mr Walsh himself seems very mater of fact, to the point and highly knowledgeable. "He" got our Chap 7. through the courts for us (although our case was a 'slam-dunk'). His office staff however are the most arrogant, unorganized, ineffective I've ever had the misfortune of spending money on. Here is the story-After our meeting of creditors when successfully, we received a letter from the Clerk of the Court indicating that 'we' had not filed the Office form 23 (or Certification of Post-filing Education) and that we had 45 days to comply or our discharge would not be completed. So about a week later, I finally got ahold of the office staff to discuss it and was met with incredulity and arrogance that I did not know what I was talking about even after having read the document to them. 45 days later, we receive another letter indicating the Cert was still not filed. What did I pay his office for if not to file the appropriate paper work appropriately and ensure the client's happiness.

Mr. Walsh took $2900 for a Chap 7 filing after a very brief consultation outlining the differences between Chap 7 & a Chap 13 filings. He did not go over the specifics of my case, nor make recommendations based on my personal situation. Months later, right before I was scheduled to go to Court, I called to ask a question about my home loans, and he told me that in order to keep my home I would need to file Chapter 13, for an additional $5000!! At no point had he ever made it clear that the only way to keep my home, based on my situation, was to file Capt. 13. I am apalled at the poor quality of legal counceling and would highly encourage others who are in crisis to look elsewhere for legal service.
