Without consulting me, Grace Dennigan wrote a letter in support of my ex-wife to a mortgage company that every lawyer I have consulted has deemed unethical. Grace later apologized for, in her own words, "error in judgement," but she probably has no idea to this day how significant her mistake was. After tens and thousands of dollars in legal fees and 3 plus years, two judges finally convinced my ex-wife to settle on my terms.
