Dishonest, abuse of power, neglected my case and failed to communicate. Terrible! Received other people’s bills, then when you ask for yours the other peoples charges are on your statement as well, even when an Court date isn’t scheduled.

The absolute worst attorney and firm you could imagine. Even the staff has such high turnover. Stay away! Every thing from Judith DeVriendt's arrogant and condescending attitude to misrepresentation and lost documentation.

Judy and her staff saved me thousands of dollars on my case. I am still ongoing whith the court system... But I am financially safe due to Judy's knowledge and judgement calls. I am hiring her again over a custody matter as well. I am extremely satisfied with her and her law firm. Judy is an attorney that sticks to her word. Her staff has went out of their way to answer all my questions. If they didn't have an answer in that moment, they Got right back to me within a few hours, with the answers.

I whole heartily agree with everything the person on 4/13/12 and 10/3/10 have wrote (there was another negative rating on here, but it has disappeared for some reason). Tells you one thing will happen and when it doesn't, denies saying it. Little follow through, will forget to cover key parts of your case and will make costly mistakes. She is very nice when you first meet her, but then turns very rude when you expect her to work your case. If you call her out on her inadequacies, she blames her staff and also will tell you that your ex screwed you and you should be lucky you are getting anything. I don't believe she really listens to you when you speak to her. I had to correct a number of errors she made in court and in my divorce papers. I would not recommend hiring her at all for anything! This attorney knows little about the financial side of divorce and will stretch a case out simply to earn fees.

same experience as person above! never follows through on anything.or passes the case to someone else that knows nothing about it. Promises one thing and does another. Very cold and nasty rude at times. After she hooks you, you slowly get nothing fair in your case, all that matters is what she is putting in her pocket. No values of her work can destroy a single parent, and leave them homeless.

Judy did a great job on my case and was right on point with cost of litigation. Her staff was very attentive and helpful.

Judy is stretched too thin & does not follow through on what she starts. After your initial phone call from her, she will never call you again & will not return you call. What she thought would run $4,000 cost me about $35,000 & I had to give up the custody fight. I had her for over 1.5 years & although she filed to reinstate my child support, she never followed up.. that was an additional loss of 10's of thousands of dollars. STAY AWAY!!!
