I was overseas and had an open warrant in phoenix, AZ so a friend referred me to melanie Beauchamp. Coning on a referral i still couldnt get the time of day with this law firm. I paid $8500 up front as a retainer fee and i had to wait weeks just to get this attorney on the phone. Everytime I called from overseas I would get the runaround by her RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL staff. Finally i was fed up and decided to hire another attorney to take over my case.I asked for my money back which (surprise surprise) was like pulling teeth trying to get it back.Finally after getting the runaround and waiting over 3 months for a refund i received 60% of my money back. The law office kept 40%, and justified it by charging me for incoming phone calls. Lol they actually charged me around $75-100 each and everytime i would call to receive an excuse from the secretaries that she was busy and couldnt take phone call. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAK AND STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS LAW FIRM AS YOU CAN BC SHE IS A

Melanie Beauchamp is an extremely dishonest attorney who should not be allowed to continue to practice law in Arizona. My experience with her has been the worst experience in my life. I had to hire another firm to fix the disaster she made of my case. She told me that she knew how to handle my case but clearly did not.

Juvenile matter.
I read a lot of reviews.. some excellent, some good and a few that almost made me cross this lawyer off my list. That would have been a mistake.... a huge mistake! A few minutes on the phone convinced me to make a (free) appointment to meet the attorney.
At our meeting she made us feel very welcome and was impressed with her knowledge, experience and most important a feeling that she was really interested in our case and listening carefully to the answers we gave to her questions I was honestly totally shocked when she said that she really felt that paying her a lot of money for her help was unnecessary.
WOW! She also offered if there were problems that we still needed help with that she would be glad to become involved but she seemed confident that this case would have a positive outcome without her direct intervention.
I kept her card and hope that we do not need her but if we do need her or if any of my friends do I will absolutely recommen

I hired Melanie to work on a DUI case where I was wrongly refused legal counsel at time of arrest. Basically I paid $6000 for copies of paperwork and a small scene she caused while in court with the judge that just made my situation worse. The only time I heard from her was when she wanted her money. This was my first experience hiring a lawyer and definitely the worst. I will never refer this law office to anyone. She is highly overpriced and all I got was the run around. She even sent another lawyer who had NO experience in dui's for my sentencing. Worst experience ever.

I read this review site and based on positive comments I read, I hired Melanie to defend me in a DUI case 7 months ago. Great decision, not necessarily because of the outcome which was WAY beyond favorable, but Melanie looked over my case, clearly communicated a strategy (point-blank, without over-promising) and went about executing it w/ great results..! :) Her office staff was first-rate. I got prompt updates on new developments in my case and was kept fully informed along the way. I felt I had access to Melanie when I had concerns about the case. There were several conferences scheduled along the way where we reviewed strategy and case status enough to make me feel comfortable that she was fighting the 'good fight' on my behalf, regardless of the outcome. If you're looking for a babysitter, find a different lawyer. I simply cannot speak enough about the professionalism and committment with which she went about defending me in what I frankly considered a pretty hopeless situation....

When my son made the uncharacteristically bad decision 17 months ago to drive under the influence and was arrested, our world was rocked. As his mother and I have always encouraged personal accountability, we were reluctant to get involved. But, not wanting this mistake to negatively alter his life forever, we came along side of him and helped him to secure an attorney--Melanie. I had met Melanie previously, but was not personally familiar with her practice or how she would handle the case. After putting us at ease and personally encouraging us as parents, she immediately went to work. I cannot say enough about the job she did for our son. While he clearly had to face consequences for his choice, Melanie competently ensured that he was treated fairly, provided the best defense he was entitled to, and treated him as a human being (not just a case) throughout the process. While I hope to never need her services again, I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone needing help. Outstanding!

I had what should have been a slam dunk personal injury. She settled, without my approval, for a sum less than the full value. Then I had to hire another lawyer to get her to give me my portion of the winnings, which wound up being a little more than a third of the total. "Fees" and "expenses" ate up the rest.

In a DUI case, Beauchamp's specialty, I was mislead into thinking I had a case worth defending, overcharged, and then thrown to the wolves. This attorney maintains a beautiful suite of offices and a large stable of associates: it's a fat and lazy practice. For cases of this kind, get a lean and hungry shark, not this practice.
