I had hired Alex to represent me on 2 occasions in the past; 1995 and 2005. Keep in mind this was a long time ago, he was at that time and is a great attorney. I read the report of his discipline and lets face it, this was a dispute between 2 grown men that had a history after a heated courtroom event. His mistake was after he realized he made an error he was embarrassed and tried to conceal it. In the end he made restitution to the other attorney and admitted what he had done. I am not sure there are many proud men that take pride in their work who would not have began by trying to conceal and right their wrong. We hire attorney's to represent us aggressively and be sure our interests are protected, that is their job. He got caught up in the heat of the moment and now its public record. As mentioned, I hired Alex a long time ago but I doubt his work, ethics or results have changed much. We should not judge someone based on one episode, he has been in law for over 25 years.
