I had victor respresnt me thinking he would help me. But he did the absolute opposite. I had evidence of failing to comply with a restraining order from my ex husband and I was inpatient at the hospital and he said I would be fine since I couldn’t pick up the subpoena. He told me he would take care of it.. the day of the hearings asked him if he presented the evidence to the judge and he told me no. I asked him why and he informed me that he didn’t know and then said I didn’t even have enough which I had a complete binder full and I was admitted to the hospital and couldn’t subpoena the marriage counselor since I couldn’t leave the hos. I also wrote outlines form him to present in court. I will now be filing a grievance with the bar because even after sending him a letter after he tried to take me to small claims court, he’s still sending me bills after he didn’t represent me appropriately. I had to hire a new attorney to fix things. He is a joke and I don’t recommend him to anyone.

It is much better to represent your self than hire this man. He will ignore and bill you, while you prepare everything. He won't remember anything about your case while in front of the judge. Keep track of times you have called him, his no response to you, his billable hours vs any work he has done, and hire another attorney to sue him. By law he is to be responsive and capable to his clients. I'm sure most of us here will back you.

We had a civil case with him. We did all the foot work and he billed us attorney rates for paralegal work.He had us suppena our neighbor more than once costing her money and making her dislike us. He billed us close to the amount we won causing more financial devistation on our family. He showed up more concerned about his back injuries and waisted time on our dime. I was recommended by a friend who delt with him 10 years previously...Very disappointed with his work ethics and the extra suffering our family endured because it wasnt our best intrest he looked out for. Our winnings were his fees and we never even received any of our winings.

Does not do his research or explain what he is doing and is lazy about communicating except for when he wants his money. Does not explain the process and this very confusing. Horrible office staff - almost non existant. Is not prompt or on time for office appointments. I do not recommend AT ALL.

I was in a long term marriage with a mental and fiancial and controlling truck driver who double life on the road that trying to take our home and everything from me and try to make me homeless and I called up Victor Bland that is that a former client recommended me to and Victor seen that I was not put out of the home and he made sure that I got financial assets from spouse and I thank Victor Bland because if it wasn’t for him I would be homeless Bless you Victor Bland from Jeanette

Wish I had found this site before hiring Victor. I chose him for a divorce case and he overlooked details that subsequently cost me thousands to repair. Upon requesting my file from his office I learned he never used the research I shared with him. Like the prior reviewer Victor discussed my case the day before and wrote a "plan of attack" on scrap paper. Horrible, horrible.

I worked with Victor on both a divorce case and custody battle. In both situations his lackadaisical work ethnic resulted in missed details that ultimately cost me considerable time, heartache, and money. I prepared my argument and presented Victor with research in the form of photos, audio, and detailed documentation. All of which he never used, reflected on, or utilized as a foundation for the case. For my custody battle Victor meant with me only once, the day before the hearing in fact, and drafted his argument on a piece of notebook paper. Victor has a strong alliance with Shirley Gallagher of “Gallagher & Associates” for counseling needs. My opinion of their services is also poor. After talking to many lawyers since I’ve learned Victor is exceptionally poor at this profession and coast on the ignorance of those entering into legal situations. All this to say Victor is, if hired, as toxic to your situation, if not considerable worse, than the opposition.

He made us do all the leg work. We paid for a 3000 report he suggested and didnt recommend the person to do it. He never even presented it and didn't even push at all on the prosecutor.

Lazy, not forthcoming with helpful information. Was apathetic about my situation, although he seemed concerned at first it was obviously a ploy to "reel" me in. He had other "more important" cases to work on and left me to figure things out - he was supposed to help protect my interests! I was left footing the bill and no health insurance. He advised me to take a lump sum in the form of stocks - now my ex makes more money and the market crashed! There was a lot he did not do - my name was still on legal documents that should have been dealt with BY HIM but l had to deal with 3 YEARS later! In the end he was only concerned about getting his money. Try Susan Prentice, if you are lucky she will have openings. Good luck.

I had to prepare my own case and he made deals with the judge and the other lawyer behind my back. Then had the nerve to charge me over 12,000 dollars. I would not recommend him at all. He only wants your money!!!
