I hired to Stasha to contest the adoption of my son and to establish paternity. She did good work at first but soon a could no longer get in contact with her. I would call, email and text her to no avail. Despite asking Stasha numerous times if I should pay child support, she said adamantly not until we have an order. We ended up losing the consent portion of the adoption for not paying child support. I decided to appeal the decision at the advise of Stasha and paid her for the appellate work. About a month before a hearing I started trying to contact Stasha to prepare. I called and texted every few days for weeks. 3 days before the hearing she texted me saying she could no longer represent me because she decided to take a job working at the Department of Transportation. DO NOT HIRE HER FOR ANY REASON. i am now left looking for someone to come in and clean up her mess, with a hearing scheduled for 3 days away. Not to mention I recently paid her an additional $2500. I want her disbarred

Spoke to her one time in Dec, and we were supposed to meet once she contacted me. Never heard from her. She seemed knowledgeable. I emailed the information she asked for. Never heard from her again even though I continued to email every couple of weeks. We are now in the March with still no response.

Stasha McBride Martin is disorganized and outclassed when up against another strong attorney. Her care for the customer is nil, you are just a paycheck to her. She is like most and do not communicate to the client unless pressed. She has too many cases going on to focus. Very disappointing. You get what you pay for I guess.
