I paid $5000 for Steven Fanning to represent me. His office is only staffed by him and his wife. Twice for a week each time there was no one in the office and my messages were unreturned. He failed to turn up to court for my matter because his daughter had a stroke a week prior. He did not even contact me, or return the numerous and desperate calls I had made to his office to see what was going on. Then, his mother died, and then he went on vacation for a week. I was completely overcharged for work that he said he did but was never discussed or agreed to. He did what he wanted to do, and when I questioned why he was not following my instructions he told me if I didn't like it I could get a new lawyer. I did get a new lawyer who represented me in court and finalised my matter for half the cost. He was not trustworthy and charges what a top attorney. Hiring him was the most costly mistake of my life. Much of his advise was not correct. Filing a complaint with the Bar of Georgia

All talk no action. We paid good money for talk in the office and not really prepared or engaged in the court room. Next time I will get a young person not to long out of law school who is trying to prove themselves. Don't tell me what you think should happen and then not fight to get it for me.
