Terrible communicator! I had to prompt her and provide her with web site links to inform her of relevant information. She provided no substantive guidance, but instead insisted on pursuing routes I told her were pointless. Worst of all, she failed to tell me that the laws governing my case were basically set in stone, until after she had spent my $2,000 retainer. She did not inform me that the outcome of my case was basically already determined by the terms of NYS law from the beginning. If I had known, it would have been apparent that there was no point in even having an attorney. I sent her lots of personal information I thought might have a bearing on the outcome (before I knew it wouldn't) and she didn't even respond. I finally dismissed her and I truly believe the outcome of the trial was better than it would have been if I had taken her advice.
