I have no way of knowing what this man's knowledge is but the rest of the categories are definitely BAD. He set my father up to be my mother's guardian and conservator without explaining what this would mean. My mother has Alzheimer's and cannot make her own decisions. This may be something that my dad would have to do eventually but only after fully understanding what his obligations to the court would be. In medicine, there is something called "informed consent". Is there no such thing in law? James Paul did not explain to my 90 year old father, who cannot see, that he would be required to keep accurate and extensive records on all expenses and that he would have to file these with the court annually. And in addition, that it would take an attorney to file these reports and that he fully expected to be the attorney that my father would use. James Paul did not communicate or instruct in this matter. He is grossly remiss.
