Exceptional attorney who got me a settlement in a personal injury case when everyone at the scene initially blamed me, and my former lawyer dumped my case. Thank you, Malcolm.

He is always available, and has affordable rates for being a very very good lawyer. He saved my daughter from going overseas to Japan with my ex-wife, and my daughter is now living with me in California. I've had legal problems in the past, and I don't think any lawyer I've dealt with in the past would even care to put that much effort into winning for something so important to me.

Mr. LaVergne is probably the most intelligent attorney in Nevada. I highly recommend him to everyone I know.

The attorney was terrible. He did not follow through on promises made. He took money but would not explain what he could do. When asking him questions, he blew me off. Initinal fee I paid him was $545.00 of which $45 was the initial consultation. When I refused to pay additional money, $500.00 to write a letter, he called the police on me, lied about me, and had me thrown out of his office. He deliberately made things difficult, promising to send me my file (original documents he said he needed) and then sending a letter to me that I had to request the file in writing. He lied to me and to others. He wasted my time, not doing the things he promised to do. He refused to answer questions. He had no strategy of what he planned to do on my behalf. Bottom line, he only wanted the money.

This attorney answered his own phone and when I asked him if he is experienced in employment law he said "somewhat." When I politely asked him to be more specific he avoided the question and changed the subject. I again asked him very politely, do you mind if ask about your experience in employment law? At that point he hung up on me. Let me emphasize that at no time was I disrespectful to him in any way. My impression was of someone very unprofessional and very rude, and not competent in the area of law I was needing, but unwilling to be honest about it. I would never recommend this man to anyone seeking a lawyer. Note: referral came from State Bar of Nevada with a phone number only, no address other than "East Charleston Blvd." I have searched the Las Vegas phone directory and cannot find this attorney listed anywhere, not in white or yellow pages. Also, this website program forced a rating in every category but I can only rate Communication and Value from my experience with him.
