I had hired Ms.Zalagenas to represent me in my custody battle and divorce. She is very cold and very unpersonable. I had left a message on her voicemail 3 weeks in a row asking for her to "please" call me and heard nothing! I gave a $3000 retainer and recieved no up to date bills, but rather a big bill of another $2500 on top of the retainer fee I provided. When I asked her a question, her answers were always very "vague" and I always felt like she was in hurry to get me out the door. I was told that she was an excellent lawyer and that she would definately get me what I deserved. I am still in the process of getting a divorce and have now obtained a new lawyer. Not once did she mention having contact through email and it was always back and forth, back and forth nonsense between lawyers which is very annoying because lawyers know the "law" and should take into account that these are peoples lives that they drag on and on. Sit down, negotiate, settle it and get on with your life!
