I couldn't say enough good about Janet Langjahr. I brought her a convaluted case, to say the least and she, in short time was able to cut through, narrow down as welll as understand the larger picture of this very entangled family issue. Her breadth of knowledge and deeper understanding of these matters allowed me a Dismissal of the case against me. She was on my side all the way and made me feel so at every step. I don't hesitate in recommending Ms. Langjahr.

Ms. Lanjahr has numerous personal issue that effect her ability to conduct herself in a professional and ethical manner. She failed to attend a hearing after being hired to do so.

excellent communicator, understanding and gentle. So far so good, although the custody trial hasn't even happened yet. Nevertheless, the fact that she is prompt, quickly returns phone calls, emails important docs -- this and more so far give me confidence and hope in the case's outcome. She is also active in non-profit organizations involving domestic violence -- and this speaks volumes since my family's particular case involves violence against my niece by my sister's abusive boyfriend (who is myniece's biological father). Her rate seems expensive at first, but she really does seem to have low overhead in her simple office, and you get the sense that the money is worth the value of her work. Her retainer upfront is reasonable.

The worst attorney I have ever had the unpleasure of meeting. She is unprofessional and her law office is a joke. When she told me her rates and retainer fee, my jaw dropped! She works out of a one room office space,with 2 staff members (that sit in the front part of her office - with old McDonald's food and bags everywhere),yet she has the nerve to charge as much as attorney with over 20 years of family law experience. I can go to a top law firm, receive top service, for the same dollars. Also, how much can someone know about family law when back in 2003 she has the following blub associated with her "Janet's Langjahr's law practice concentrates on business law and litigation, with a special emphasis on high technology law." I do not recommend Attorney Janet Langjahr and she does not have the family law experience, she portrays on her website.
