not nearly as sharp as he constantly tells you and he and his staff especially his wife lisa may be the rudest people I have ever encountered. after refusing to return my personal files and hanging up on me (this after paying 20k for a simple bk and settlement work) said he was a black belt and threatened my life with his bare hands. wow really professional...would not recommend for small claims court...truly horrible experience

Terrible experience. Lied to. Didn't know what he was talking about. it cost me another $3500 to undo what he charged me $6000 for. Avoid him

I didn't know that a bankruptcy case could be so complicated. Thank goodness I hired Steve Berken. He turned an impossible situation into a simple solution. I would recommend Steve to anyone.

This office not only gouges clients for additional fees for work not done, they even misappropriate monies supposedly held in trust, and lie about events and conversations to justify their rip-offs.
