I had hired this lawyer to file a case against an ex-girlfriend who used and otherwise maxed out a credit card that she couldn't afford and without my knowledge or consent. Ms. Carrasco told me that getting the ball rolling on the case was my responsibility and depended on my getting documents and retainer payment to her office, after which I can only see and remember that she went on vacation and dragged her feet, wasting more time to send or verify documents to me through the mail. In wanting to finalize the case w/ her, I made an appointment to meet at her office and sign documents. My parents & I waited for upwards of 35 minutes in the lobby before she came out to talk and sign the documents (that had to be corrected by her assistant), and as to chastise or talk down to me and take any negative attention from her and her actions. I Was later sent a bill for an hour meeting?? This attitude and actions seem fairly typical of most lawyers or attorneys that I have dealt with!
